About me
I have over 20 years’ experience in professional tuition, examination and marking operations in an international setting. I believe in the power of education, and have a strong sense of fairness.
Completing a MA in Online and Distance Education inspired my passion for academic research and writing. I am in the final year of my PhD, focusing on Learning Analytic Dashboards, Self-Regulated Learning and feedback relating to assessment in professional learning. My aim is to support learners through my practical experience and academic knowledge. I am particularly interested in how GenAI can transform education through personalisation and critical interaction.

Conferences are always an intense experience; so many experts in one place, so much research and knowledge crammed into 20 minute presentations…
